The green splatter, having seen it twice now, is still my favorite KXK finish thus far. That being said Jacksonplayer's "Retina Burn Yellow" is pretty damn kickass. I really liked the feel of the neck and surprisingly the pickup spacing wasn't really much of an issue. Funny enough the tone of that pickup position was pretty sweet... great neck sound without the mud. Maybe ESP should take a look at that and move the SRC "middle" pickup up just a taaad more because if they were in the same position as this I think the issue everyone has with the location would be a moot point.

I really dig the blackout 7's too, first time I actually played a set (heard Frank demo'ing them in his schecter at NAMM but didn't play it myself) and I liked them. EMGs without the qualities that I didn't like in their 7-string sets.

Thanks again for having us over Dave, always a good time man.

Thai food FTW, we're going to have to hit that place up again soon.... might try something a little spicier.
