Hipshot vs. TonePros bridge

As I mentioned earlier in my pickups and body wood thread in electronics section of the forum, I'm getting a custom guitar built. I've settled on a fixed bridge but I don't know which one I should settle for between a Hipshot bridge and a TonePros string-through. I've been a trem guy most of my guitar playing life and I'm looking for a similar feel in a fixed bridge. Unfortunately I can't get my hands on a 7 string edge FX bridge

Who has experience with either of those bridges? Any other possible (better) recomendations?

EDIT: I think you refer to the TonePros as TOM bridges?

Well, it is really a matter of what you feel comfortable with under your hand. I personally prefer a tune-o-matic, which is why my guitars have Tonepros. I don't want a Strat style bridge.

I would get a tone-pros TOM recessed into the body so that the neck angle is 0. Its just me but I like that profile better than having an angled neck. Take a look at those awesome KxKs that have it.

Does one hold any advantage over the other in any way? Better tone? sustain? anything really...
