Fucking shit, and youve never done this shit before?
well i had a tiger stripe veneer from a different type of cheaper wood on it for about a month. the color looked to yellow, awfule after awhile, so i took it off and ordered a more expensive, but worth it, flame veneer. so this is my first time in adding venners, its fun but time consuming. its all about detail, im still on the detail stages.

im still in awe myself a bit, there was some bumps on the top that were fixed with me just apllying more pressure with my thumb for a while. i just want to get it done, this guitar is so easy to play, nothing like my other s7420bp.

Now just imagine Ibanez making a model just like the one here, maybe even with a 27" scale...I'd hit it, and I am sure tons of you guys would aswell.

Schecter would be so screwed!

Not gonna happen though.

before and after pics (original/stained), i wished i had a cloner and kept both colors, but the Rio sunset color will be done by saturday. im almost sad to finishing this guitar, get ready to be played like never before. im still in the middle of adding many layers of tung oil, then a polish will be done.

this was just after sanding, so its more yellow than the pic, the bottom one is close to finish, but needs detail. its more work than what i thought. cant say enough about detail.

^PM Chris. Don't see why you'd want to though.

Daybean, i hate you. That axe is slick as shit. It makes me want to add a veneer to my RG project.

Man, that amazes me that somebody could get that great of a result out of a solo project. If I ever grow the balls, I'd love to do something like that to my S7.
