Yeah I might try that next. Like I said I have that DR set (tite fit) 10's with a 60. I wonder if that means they will feel tighter than a different brand. Only one way to find out.

I just put on a set of DR 9's wit a 60 for the low A....... 60 on the low A is too loose on this guitar even though it is a baritone. So I put on a 62 I had laying around which is alittle better. I think a 64 would be perfect for this axe but I dont have one at the moment. Im also still not sure about the 9 guage set. I never use 9's on my other guitars but I figured since it's a baritone maybe it would work nice with the extra tension.
They do feel nice and all but may be a bit thin for my taste. Am I wasting my time with 9's even though the rest of the guitar is in standard?
The bridge being so tight on the springs didnt change even when I changed that 66 to a 60 so Im thinking about just blocking the floating bridge cause I hate dealing with tunning issues that these mofo's have sometimes. If the bridge is this tight than its like not even having a floating trem anyway.
