rvoteary is on a distinguished road
S7320 vs S7420

Anyone wanna compare the two, I own a 320, have never played a 420, and was just curious about the two.

S7320 = ZR Trem
S7420 = TRS Trem

Therefor

S7320 > S7420

Actually, I know that's a HUGE over generalization, but just for example's sake.

I would take the S7420FM over the bland black S7320. Now if I was using the trem a lot I would get the S7320 but otherwise the beautiful flame of the S7420fm would win me over.

It seems that you forgot that the S7320 are Indoneasian (or Korean at much), while the S7420 is Japanese. I haven't played the S7320 but I seriously doubt it matches the quality of my S7420FM

Necks are also different. Imo, the S7420FM's Wizard I neck > S7320's Wizard II. I've played both.

I would take an S 7420 over a 7320 as well. I miss mine alot, it was a great guitar.

Yeah, I know but the Lo Trs never bothered me at all, in fact it performed pretty well.

IMO the RG7420 equipped with a lo trs is pure bull i hate that piece of tin. I or II
for my future mod im looking into an original floyd rose 7 tremolo... if it performs as good on a seven as well as it does on a 6 then i will definitely be satisfied.

While i like the neck a bit more on the 7420's, ill take the 7320 due to the trem. The fretwork on mine holds up pretty damn well to the 7620 i had, and the neck would be easy to reshape a bit.

They're korean. FWIW, current Korean guitars i've played in the past few years from LTD And Schecter have both had equivalent, if not better fit & finish than some of the japanese ibanezes ive owned.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.
