Why do you have a guitar like that if you never change strings?

Nice catch man, awesome looking guitar! I'm not usually the kind that likes strange pointy shapes, but that actually looks very awesome. How is it balanced?

Yes. Due to a lack of quality trems for 7's prior to the OFR7, there's a couple of early custom 7's that Jackson put Lo-Pro's on.

Cheers

I've no idea how it balances yet, I haven't had time to try it with a strap. I haven't even had the time to play it since Friday night either

Sound clips? I would if I had anything decent to record on. It's in standard 7 string B tuning. The Tremol-no seems to be fine, but I haven't given it a good work out yet. I still need to get the guitar set up.

Updated pics:

This last one is closer to showing how red the guitar is. It's not "trans orange" as the tag says, it's blood red:

I still haven't had time to take any proper outdoor pics, so these are still with my suck-tasting indoor lighting. I have had time to try it through an amp though. I got about 30mins with it through 7DT's bias-modded 5150, and wow! Just wow! Pure, unadulterated armageddon!

The Lundgren is amazingly clear and articulate, yet (even through a 5150) it'll clean up superbly. There's a meaty growl to this guitar with such a depth it's like playing with a bassist all the time. All in all, it fucking slays

I Really Like Ibanez Seven String Guitars

Origanally posted by Variant - Pulled from the river Styx, the mighty black oar of doom in hand! I certainly would not call this particular guitar an "axe" more like a club. Whereas Noodles' KxK would run through an emo, spilling his insides for a quick death, this blunt mace would bludgeon the unfortunate effeminate soul, breaking bones, bruising muscle, and causing internal bleeding to lead only to a slow, painful death

Why doesn't Jackson make guitars like that anymore? I realize they make the warrior still, but a neck through, that isn't $2000

Yeah pal you suck is right nice hatchet

GUESS WHAT I'VE GOT? Fitzgibbons 5000 ultra synapse accellerator which allows me to think faster than the masses and phase in and out of the matrix at will.
