I just recently bought a Caparison Dillenger 7 brand new. I returned the guitar. IMO it is not worth the money. My J custom and 2077xl are much more comfortable to play. The action had to be set pretty high on the Dillenger 7. The guitar needed a level and polish from day one.

Why did it have to be set pretty high?

Hellbound is just really niceHellbound is just really nice
I had to sell my guitar to get back in college which was extremely important to me. I'll just keep my eyes opened for offers on the net every once in a while I'll see one pop up on ebay. I don't care what color I get just wouldn't mind having another K7. Didn't realize the Caparison's we're over 2 grand that's insane.

Ah, the suffering. The sweet suffering.

I wish we were as big as Caparison, or putting out over 600 guitars a year.

Rob would need to clone himself about 10 times.

Its not just aesthetic value but it plays awsome too.

btw dude why did you sell your K7???
They play about the same as a good J Custom. That's it. Definitely not worth $2500.

And I never had a K7.

Because if i set the action low the neck would be buzz freakin city. It was pretty bad. I had the guitar leveled and polished by a well known tech in my area. I then had it looked at by another tech who had no idea why the guitar played like ass. All the frets were level after the work was done but the action was still bad. The build quality was very poor and is probably inconsistant with the Caparison 7's. I hate to bash a company but I was really disapointed with that guitar. The case that was also very flimsy and falling apart from day one. Keep in mind i bought this guitar brand new.

That is completely unacceptable, especially in a guitar in that price range.

Did you try returning it? If that guitar showed up at my door, it would have gone right back out the door within a week or two. There is absolutely no reason you should have to have the frets leveled on a brand new guitar.

Thats are bad news, I use to have a Dellinger 6 that I have sold to get a new seven and I´m a Caparison fan so I was thinking about a Dellinger 7 but I´m not sure right now. Is a very high price and hard to get guitar to be adjusted from the first day

I still have an Apple Horn that plays very well!!!

Cheers
