Demeyes will become famous soon enough
I heard of people using some plumbers tape to tighten it up, but that gets messy if you take the bar off again.
I'm not familiar with the Edge but on OFRs there is something you can tighten from the trem cavity on the underside of the trem that will tighten things up a little. Thats helped when mine was swinging around a lot.

I wrap a bit of PTFE tape round it. It's a short term fix, but a roll of the stuff is only about 25p and it'll last for ages.

Just get a schaller OFR arm and collar and be done with the craptacular edge arm. I have one and it was awesome on my UV and will be putting it in on my RG7CSD1 soon. It just stays where ever you put it and doesnt ever swing down. All the mods to the edge arms are temporary as lets face it the nail polish, the paper, the bearings and all that wear out eventually.

There's no need to swap out the arm on an Edge Pro - set up right and with minimal periodic maintenance, it'll perform just fine.

One of two things are happening here - either your bushings are worn, or your arm holder is loose.

Check the arm holder, first - does the arm rock back and forth in the trem, or does it just spin freely? If the former, grab a socket wrench and (gently - if you overdo it you can totally shear the metal in the arm holder)apply a bit of torque to tighten it up. If you're just dealing with a loose arm holder, this will fix it.

If it's the bushings, then the good news is they're cheap - you're looking $12 for a bag of 12 from Ibanez Rules, with two bushings per arm. I've been using the same bag I bought back in college for years, for a couple guitars, and I think I still have two changes left. Under normal wear, they'll hold up a LONG time - say, 6 months, longer (much longer) if you don't pop the bar in and out a lot.

That's where most of the wear occurs, pushing the bar into the trem, and pulling it out to put it back in its case. If you're doing this a lot, you'll burn through them pretty quickly. If not, well, the bar on my UV has maybe a 2-year-old set of bushings, maybe almost 3, and it still holds position pretty well.
