Electronics: Lundgren M7 (bridge)
Schertler Bluestick electrostatic transducer (bridge) w/ active
preamp (with 2-band active EQ)
separate outputs for the magnetics and the Schertler
neck pickup is to be chosen yet
3-way switch w/push-pull coil tap and 2-way mini toggle switch
for the Schertler
Neck & head bindings: ebony
Pickup rings: 4-ply ebony-maple
Hardware: custom made fixed bridge w/ string-thru-body construction,

Our touring/session guitarist Andras Horvath also owns a 7-string Amarant.This one is a maple neckthrough mahogany instrument with a camphor top and ebony fingerboard.All the bindings are abalone.

Their website is just under a total re-design to be functional but you can still check out their myspace @ MySpace.com - Amarant Guitars - - Rock / Acoustic / Metal - www.myspace.com/amarantguitars . There are also pics of the 6-strings they've made so far.I'll try to get pics of their very first instrument which was a 7-string explorer shape.

I like the design of the first one. Some of the details are really creative.

It's an ash body with a set 5-piece flame maple-ebony neck and birdseye maple fingerboard.Scale length is 26,3" (approx.,since we count in a metric system,so it's 670 millimeters) with A-D-G-C-F-A-D tuning (low to high).In the bridge position there's a Lundgren M7 and I still have to find out what to put to the neck position.Under the bridge there is a custom ordered Schertler Bluestick electrostatic transducer which is like an improved piezo (actually it's a small electrostatic microphone with a dedicated active preamp) so the axe is capable of producing very distinctive and uniqe clean sounds too.The pickup rings are 3-ply ebony-maple,also handmade.Inlays are abalone.
