They are very kickass. But after reading the prices i was shocked! 5k for a semi-unknown builder is a lot...

Yikes, that's fair enough. Sounds like amateur work that should be avoided all together. When dealing with individual builders it's definitely nice to find someone local who's instruments you can try before ordering
