 |  Help, I need your advice When I visited my local guitar store the clerk advised me not to buy a seven string, he said I would suffer discomfort because of the size of my hands. This baffled and embarrassed me. My hands are small, not as small as Michael Romeos (the fat dude from Symphony X), but just small.  |

| It should be mentioned that a lot of us here, myself included, find the wider neck of 7 strings far more comfortable than a 6. I think there's one dude in particular who stated that his main reason for playing a seven was the wider neck! |
