just google "oud"...it's really that easy i'm kidding, but I am lazy, so I'm not gonna post any pics (simply because I just don't have any). The oud is what some consider to be the predecessor to the lute and looks somewhat similar to one <--- not quite an oud though. I've seen a bunch here in bahrain...some look gorgeous with intricate little paint details or scripture written on it, but expensive. On a back on topic note (sorry for being teh douche), i recieved DKFHS in the post finally (i'm a little behind schedule i know)! However, due to installation taking so long, i gave in to sleep and went to bed after it was all said and done. i did manage to install it into nuendo without a hitch and loaded a template up and made a few riffs after programming a very simple beat go from ezdrummer to DKFHS was easier than i thought (though i know it's so much more deeper than the surface i've scraped). Yay for psuedo inspiration and motivation!

Oh thats cool, as per your issues consider just giving it to a buddy till you really get a massive urge to play, usually works because after a while you start pretending that your playing guitar and get tons of ideas then when you get your guitar back your like pro and you have a new spark.

btw your song art from chaos is really cool and i can totally see you getting signed and kicking ass

That's a decent idea...unfortunately none of my friends are responsible enough to babysit an $800 guitar. I'd get it back with broken strings, vomit in my pups, and a penis drawn/etched on/in the back thanks for the kind words about my music man

friends exist only for social purposes (i.e. conversations), moral support, and the occasional money lending i'm sorry if i don't want a penis-laden, vomit-covered, broken guitar...plus they eat all of my food
