Problem with the frets on my Loomis...

Edit: It's been completely resolved, the guys in customer support are great, I sent it in and they sent a new one out the day they got it. They said that it was very unlikely for a guitar to leave the factory like that, and seeing other peoples guitars I believe them. So props to Schecter, I am very glad I decided to buy from them due to their excellent customer service and warranty.

Just got it today, however the first thing I notice is that the frets are ground to the point that they are actually flat on the lower frets. They aren't as bad on the upper frets around 19-24 but they still are ground quite a bit.

I've been trying to take pictures of it but I can't get the camera to focus good that close to something. This really sucks, I recently sold my hellraiser because I needed money and didn't think I would be able to get another 7 for a while but taxes came out in my favor so I got this.

Does anyone else notice anything like that on their Loomis Floyd or otherwise models?

Contact schecter and they will send you a new one. If you haven't bought it used.

Yeah, the guys at schecter are fucking cool about stuff like this. They will send you a new one if you treat it well and it is still in warranty.

Funny, cuz I just got my Loomis on Wed on noticed several of my frets were flat as well. They're not completely flat, but not rounded to a nice point like they should be. Wonder why that is? Poor quality control? Regardless, there is no excuse for this on a $1k guitar.

This is the third time I've heard about this and it's only the loomis model, strange.

LOL, yeah I never thought about that. I just go around calling it the Loomis or my Loomis. I wonder if that would be flattering or creepy, probably more creepy haha.

I got some pictures to work, there is a special zoom so it's not blurry when you get close up I found out. I am going to send it back so I'll let you guys know how that goes. I just got it today from DCGL so it shouldn't be a problem, it's just annoying.

Yup, the picture with the little flower. It's quite cool now that I found it, makes everything look artistic, even fret damage lol.
