Thinking of a seven need suggestions

Well I am almost 95-100% convinced that my next guitar purchase is going to be a seven anywhere from 800-1200CAD.

here are some things im looking for in a seven:

2hums emg or passive (di marzio) or blackouts..
must have a FR trem ..no lic. pos' either
a relatively skinny fretboard especially at the last fret..dont like stretching across a huge distance from b-e

otherwise im relatively open to suggestion

one that has really caught my eye is the Jeff Loomis 7 string

thanks

If you don't want a licensed floyd, your only options in that pricerange are the Loomis model, the C7Hellraiser FR, and.. uh.. yeah.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

yeah, as Metal Ken already stated. your options are limited for an OFR equipped 7. the Loomis is definietly your best bet.

I don't mind Ibanez trems if you consider those licensed as my current main guitar is an ibanez s prestige with the ZR..i also enjoy most of the edge trems as well

Have you considered the Ibanez S7320 then?

Edit: Oh by the way, welcome!

Aled Smith can only hope to improve
why dont you buy something that you like the look of then add the Floyd and the blackouts later on, its what everyone else does, in my case for example, i have an Ibanez RG1527 which i bought specifically to mod, and im having the body re-made, new pickups and wiring + EMG SPC, im having a maple fingerboard and im having a headstock overlay and new tuners. So dont think the guitar has to be perfect when you first get it, cause they dont tend to be, im sure most of the guys here will back me up on this

good luck anyway man

so basically, the only stock thing left on your guitar would be the neck, sans fretboard. why go through all that trouble, when you could just get a custom made with the specs you want? the cost of the 1527 plus all the mods puts you just about at that price range anyway
