My new 7 string build has started!

Got the top joined and glued today with this piece and I got a couple photos of my neck from soulmate today

I cant wait until it gets here so I can make my templates and cut everything. I should have it all cut and ready in the next week. then to the finishing! I will try and do photos while building, maybe I can get my wife to take some shots. This is what Im building

25.5" Neck scale, Curly maple 5 piece neck with Rosewood strips I believe
Ebony fretboard with ebony headstock veneer
Honduran Mahogany 1 piece body
Seymour Blackouts or Maybe some Rio Grandes

the way the flame pattern is on the neck makes it look very tigerish ... FAP!

The guitar really looks great and I'm sure it will completely kick ass!

May I ask what you paid for the mahogany?

i don't really like the body design its just not my thing but the aspects are seks!
