That looks lovely! The shape of the guitar is nice but I'm not sure what I think of the headstock. Keep us posted.

I've been drooling over those soulmate necks for awhile. Definitely gonna go that way when I've got the courage to do my own build. May I ask what you payed for the neck?

Very nice top, where did you get it?

Also, are you sure the fretboard trapezoid is going to work with the bridge. If the strings will be aligned parallel to the edge of the fretboard. Cause that's the problem with shaped necks, that they are measured to work with one type of bridge.

Is that Doug's "standard grade" of flame for his necks? Or did you go for some of his "higher quality" stock? Cause I know his standard stuff is pretty nice looking... and if it looks like that, hell, I'll go for that stuff anyday!
