![]() | What Does $599 Get You @GC? A Schecter C7 Hellraiser, that's what! I dunno if any of you guys who are looking for one will get this price but it was basically marked down to this price because A)it is one of the 2006 models and B)THE 2008s ARE COMING! I kinda prefere this one though. I don't think I'd have a use for the coil split feature on the 2008s and I am really not digging the fact that the perfuling(?) is on the top now instead of along the edge as a binding. It kinda reminds me of their C1 Elite which is all kinds of fugly with all the fake abalone. So the consensus on this guitar...well it was made to do as it name suggests: RAISE SOME HELL! I have an Ibanez 7321 which I was just getting comfortable with but this thing slays it 1000x over. SO...If anybody is looking to pickup a 7321...mine aint gonna be seeing no love anytime soon.I think the biggest thing that this guitar has over the 7321 is its neck. Playing the Ibanez I was comfortable playing the neck because I was able to wrap my thumb around just like any other sixer I had so a bad habit made comfort allowed me to slide right into playing a 7. Now with this hellraiser I can still get my thumb over but its uncomfortable. so it forces me to use a classical hand position which has forced me to use proper left hand technique. And you know what? THANK GOD...because this is allready improving my speed on a seven string neck. That in itself was worth the price of the guitar. So there is my little review/side by side comparison/new schecter fanboi preaching. I'm stoked and with that its of to some riffage ![]() Oh, as an interesting side idea...with this guitar at 599 and the agile interceptor pro at 599 which is REALLY the better deal? |

![]() | Oh, wow...uh...comparing it to the Hellraiser might be a bit difficult. The pickups are upgraded so for people who like EMG's this is a perfect deal, for those who like passives might be forced to go with the Agile, and upgrade, which is not bad. As a Hellraiser lover... |

![]() | well i was playing devils advocate only because this Hellraiser is EMG equipped with a 26.5" scale and the agile Interceptor PRO is also EMG equuipped but 27" scale. the question really is with two guitars with very similar features and reputable playability who tops who? the national brand or the little guy @ rondomusic.com? |

A Hellraiser for $599 is a fucking steal. 7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels. http://www.mnemic.com/board/images/smilies/sam666.gif http://www.myspace.com/psyclosis Psyclosis page http://www.myspace.com/texamanian My page |

Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known. ![]() |
