Quick string brand question (DR)

I had someone suggest to me DR strings as being good for low tunings and helping to keep string buzzz out of the picture. What string brand do you guys find to be the most helpful on the low b string tuned to A in my case. As far as tightness goes and buzz.

Whoever said DR is correct, they are an excellent string.

Nice! I guess I am going to switch then.... I have been using Dean Markley.'
Also was wondering........ In my experience I find that on the Low B a 62 guage string seems to work pretty good on most of the 7 string guitars I have had and I drop tune to A on just that string. It seems like once I start going thicker it actualy cause more of a string buzz problem than your normal little buzz that comes along with droping to A. Granted that if I go lower than a 62 its not tight enough. Has anyone else had this experience with to large of a low b string causing extra fret buzz maybe do to displacement and vibrations of a larger string?

Ernie balls sound fanfuckintastic new, the issue is that they burn out fast. I use EB's alot, cause also while they burn out faster, IMO they sound better dead than other strings do (dead as well). i also have never broken an EB string. ever. ive broken plenty of other brands. That said, elixers are GREAT for low tunings cause they are nice and bright. They sound new for a looong time too. I didnt care for DR's personally, but try em out, if you like em thats what matters

any trouble with fret buzz will come from a poor setup, not your strings.

Elixirs, DR tite fits, D'Addarios, Ernie Balls have all worked out great for me with no issues.

the only strings i've ever had problems with were WebStrings. i guess i expected it considering the price. but i tried 2 different sets and both were just horrible. now matter how many times i stretched them, they would never seem to settle. had a hell of a time getting them in tune and intonated properly. WebStrings =
