I'd get the blackjack. why? more pickup swapping options, should you go that route eventually.

3 cheers for free gear!

Don't both the Hellraiser and the Blackjack have mahogany neck-thru necks? I'm pretty damn sure that my Blackjack has a mahogany neck thru

There are more pickups options with the Blackjack, and as a lot of people have said, even if you want actives, you can fit in active Blackouts. The Hellraiser has got fancier inlays though, and you can get the red one which looks absolutely killer.

blackjack has a maple neck and rosewood board with JB/59' 7 set. Blackjack ATX has mahogany neck and an ebony board with the Phase II blackouts.

Oooh, I didn't know there was a new model out.

According to music123 the ATX model has a 25,5" scale neck vs. the regular 26,5"?

It is? It's so sexy I noticed I was thinking about getting a Schecter, but the 25.5" scale set me back.

Now I might have to, goddammit
