I think this is a bit overpriced what do you think? Schecter Omen 7 with Custom DiMarzio Tone Zone 7 Bridge & Air Norton 7 neck pickups and a case for $400, used?

That's a bad deal. The Omen is worth about $200 used and the Tone Zone 7 is the worst aftermarket 7-string pickup of all time.

I'd pass. You could find much better deals easily I assure you

my price range doesn't really matter right now, I won't be able to get a seven for a couple of months. but when I am able to get it will be around $750-$800

Check out Schecter's Hellraiser and ATX series 7s.

Schecter C-7 ATX/Jeff Loomis HT and the Ibanez Xiphos XPT707 are 3 good choices that come to mind.
