SC-607B

Since it is labeled as a 7 string baritone is the ESP SC-607B tuned BEADGBE. or is it tuned F#BEADF#B? And is it neck-thru/set-neck?

B on that neck? what gauge does it use, i thought it would be perfect for A

Origanally posted by Variant - Pulled from the river Styx, the mighty black oar of doom in hand! I certainly would not call this particular guitar an "axe" more like a club. Noodles' KxK would run through an emo, spilling his insides for a quick death, this blunt mace would bludgeon the unfortunate effeminate soul, breaking bones, and causing internal bleeding to lead only to a slow, painful death

Hi!

I got this guitar and have to use a .56 (A tunning, not dropped) for the 7th because can't put a heavier gauge there as the guitar can't accept it!

It really disappointed me, luckily a good luthier near my town managed to make it work with the .56 A tunned and it's not too "soft"...although I'd like to mount a .60, any tips?

Cheers

Why won't it go? Bridge too tight or tuner problem? If it's only the tuner, not so bad...

Quickest way to make it fit is just to drill the tuner hole a liiitttle bit bigger. Yeah the risks are big, you might break it, but... you also might not. I did it one a tuner of mine some time ago, it wouldn't accept .70 but a .65 so I drilled it just a bit. Takes a steady hand or some kind of locking system, though...

Your own risk. Just remember to remove the tuner first

Hi there!

Yeah, the only problem is the tuner, I thought about drilling it but as the guitar is only 6 months old it scared me a little

Maybe I should try, I'll take a look carefully at what can I do with this problem.

I'm not very skilled with my handwork so I guess one of my old Yamaha tuners will be a good sparring

BTW I'll try to unwind the string first, man, I never thought about it, thank you vey much for the tips guys.

Cheers & rockz
