NEW 7 STRING

Damn this guitar is amazing. It plays as well, if not better than my Prestige Ibanez. Which is saying something because that is amazing too.

Alder Body
EMG 707
Ibanez universe neck
more of a creamy colour than white

It has a stupid amount of sustain and clarity. The best 7 string i've EVER played.

Talk about a clean & simple 7-string. Looks great. Custom body?

Yeah. He had a Universe neck from somewhere so he made a custom body for it. I never come across an Alder 7 string before, but it really sounds awesome.

Yeah, my old custom 8-string & Kramer 7-string were both alder bodies. Sounded great for low B chunkin', but it was a bit twangy for the Low F# on the 8.

Congrats!

The neck joint is actually comfortable. I can still reach the higher frets easily and it's not that big either.

Round off the neck joint a bit, stick a neck pick-up on it and you have a winner in my book

Unless you're a riffage kinda guy, of course

Sweet axe none-the-less.

Well i've wanted a 1 hum guitar for while. I piss about with the pickup selector too much on stage, so it really throws me off when playing solos live. So keeping it all simple is exactly what i wanted.

Whatever suits you.

Doesn't Satriani pretty much live off of the bridge-pick-up? That's the only way he can smack in all those squeals he does in his solos. He's got amazing tone.
