Naren makes me angry because he knows why but I feel bad for asking him.

I would love, love, love to own one of these, but no way in hell I'd ever pay that much for a guitar that features-wise is just average.

I'm going to hurt you, Eric.

I've got an angle grinder and stuff!

I like the devil tail headstock too personally. Looks like a great guitar (even if it's "bare-bones" in terms of specs ) and I'm sure it's worth the price.

i dunno what people are expecting from it spec wise it has 2 humbuckers and a great trem bridge and a tone and volume control and coil tapping capability.

what should it do? dance?

The expense comes from the fact its build quality is immense and it plays like teh secks

the guy who makes these is an ex jackson custom shop builder if im not wrong

I just bought a Horus from Meestursparkle. He was AWESOME to deal with. In his pics his guitars all look horribly set up but he takes the pics just before boxing the guitars up. He loosens the strings. That is why the trems are dipped back in all of his pics. When i got mine I spent 5 minutes tuning it and i lowered the action a tad and it was perfect. I would not want a guitar shipped to me from japan with full string tension.
Insert gatuitous Caparison pic here:

Yep, you're right.

See now I'm saving up for a Cap or something similar to it. I never tried Alder + Ebony before, or ebony or alder in general. I'm hesitant to try either, as this will be a 2k investment, and if it ends up like Basswood/maple...

You have a dellinger, which is Mahogany + Ebony. Stock or bareknuckles? How does it sound, is it good?

whosdealin is a jewel in the rough
I just bought one of these from meestersparkle on the bay. Unfortunatly I paid even more because mine has no blemishes. That one he just sold was cheaper because it has a small dent at the bottom. Thats a really great deal on that guitar, the dent looks like no big deal at all.
I am happy with it so far. It is a beautiful guitar and the neck is nice. I was affraid it would be to beefy for me. It turns out I find the neck to be real nice. Very comfortable.
I just got a set of Bareknuckles in for this biaatch. I got a Nailbomb neck and a Painkiller bridge. The Caparison pickups sound ok but from what everyone says here I think these might kick there ass.

Very nice. I think those pickups will be a great choice. You will definitely have to give us a nice review.
