Agile Custom orders

I'm considering ordering one of those, since Schecter raised 100$ the price of the Loomis and everyone here says that they're on par with Schecters. It would be cheaper and built to my specs, which is awesome.

The question is for anyone who has ordered one or talked with Kurt about getting one made:

Which specs are "tweakable"? AFAIK Kurt is strict with his own body shapes, not a problem since I love them, but does he make "exotic" things like shark inlays or maple binding on body and/or neck?

Also, would he use different pickups or bridges upon request? (I want an OFR).

Any input is appreciated

Like TimSE said, just take your specs and email Kurt. If he notices something he can't do within those specs, he'll let you know.

I'm just curious what he can do for necks. I know most of his 7s have a more Schecter-ish neck, but I'm more of an Ibby man.

When I was interested in getting a custom from him, I gave him the neck dimensions from a 1077xl. He said he could profile the neck if you gave him the dimensions.

I was thinking of gettin a Thin Necked custom version of the Interceptor pro 27" ...
not anytime soon i dont think as im pennyless with 3 NGDs coming soon but ya
would be good to still have at least 1 thin necked shredder guitar i think.
even tho i prefer the slightly thicker necks a thin one would be handy

the build quality is on par, but their QC sucks, i.e. it's non-existent. At least it was when I bought a Septor in 06.

Had they just opened the box and saw the chips and file marks, they could have boxed up another one for me. Oh well.

It was definitely a nice playing guitar though, and really more on par with Ibanez playability-wise.

That may have changed with the Pro stuff.

Mine will have the Wizard I specs. Just say want you want (of course, it cost to have a custom neck profile).
...

I don't think Kurt would go with other pickup brands (i also asked to have the guitar without pickups and he didn't want to).
As for the rest, just email Kurt. He'll tell you yes / no about all of the specs but pretty much everything is tweakable.
As far as i know, i'm the only one here that's really waiting to receive his custom Agile, so i went trough the whole process.
