So my friend wants to buy

My RG1527. This guitar cost me alot(and still is) to buy and set up to my specs. My friend really wants to buy it and asks me about it everyday, I told him it's one of my favorites and it would take alot to move me off it. I told him if he gives me enough to buy a good new 7 string, I'd do it and I've come to the following choices.

I'm going to be using this for Meshuggah-styled riffing and techno-punk. I'd like something futuristic looking,NO FLOYDS PLEASE my budget is about $1100 CA

LTD Viper 407-------------------1
LTD SC-607 or (B)---------------1
Ibanez Apex 1-------------------1
Schecter Jeff Loomis Hardtail-----3
Schecter C-7 HellRaiser (in black cherry)

YOUR HELP WOULD BE AWESOME

Edit: no used stuff please..

Oh.

sepherus is a jewel in the rough
the FM-408 is a 25.5 scale fyi. extra high string or cool open tunings are possible with it. i wouldn't go with an extra low string with it.
they are all awesome guitars though. personal vote for the apex 1, loomis, or the HR if you want the EMG sound but still wants tappable.

I would have to try the Loomis or HR through an amp that's not a Randall, cause I was sadly disappointed.

Don't do it. I always regreted selling mine. If he can afford to buy yours, just tell him to buy his own.

Out those for a replacement though, I'd go for the Hellraiser.

Hm. I'm still thinking about it, this thread is so I can ask my local retailer the prices I actually want instead of 100 guitars

FM-408 HAS BEEN STRICKEN FROM THE RECORD

I'm wary of my local dealer because the Floyd version is $1500 so the hardtail should be around $1250 and if I asked my friend for that, he would probably just go get a new one

So far it's down to the Loomis(depending on price!) or the Viper, cause it looks awesome. How much would the Viper run me aprox?
