I think it would look awesome if you did the Petrucci style graphics, but in monochrome, with various shades of gray.

and maybe gloss mixed with matte. I've always wanted to do that. I don't know though.

Yeah, just badly and quickly shopped it. I think you're onto something with the black and red. The gradient would probably look more dynamic with those colours than with black and cobalt. And tastier.

I think you should do all this and then sell it to me

Looks good dude.

I know you're going with the JPM graphics, but natural oil/clear finish gets my vote - mahogany has a classy look IMO. I emailed CW about a Mahogany RGA body w/ JPM routes for my 7321 and he said no problemo, but I'm still riding the fence about it. I can't decide if I want to trick out my RG or get new fiddle all together...
