because that is when i get the guitar i've been building back from being painted by Michael Sherman. started designing the guitar in May '06, and the whole thing should be complete about 6-8 weeks from today. to say i'm very excited is a huge understatement

edit: due to some delays, the glory will now take place on April 6

oh, to clarify, even after the 19th, it'll still be another 2-3 weeks before the guitar is actually complete, because i'll have to make the final pickguard design and get that ordered, and the company's turnaround time is a couple weeks. once that comes in, though, it's basically just a matter of assembling, wiring, stringing, and setting up

oh, and i still need to decide on and buy pickups, too.
