hmm, the first 7 i ever tried was a maverick. its lucky that you dont have those stupis body sunk vol and tone pots that if they break you cant fix them. + they break a lot, in my old guitar teachers shop they used to get like 2 back every week for the same problem!

Nice. I've always wanted to try one of those, but never managed to find one.

The higher end Schecter stuff is nice but the BJ, apart from being abbreviated into slang for oral sex just has nothing going for it IMO. For somehting that costs more than an RG7321 I'd expect it to at least draw level with it.
Strange, I thought my Blackjack was much nicer then my RG7321. At least I didn't have to spend another £160 on new pickups for it like I did with the RG. Then again, I did get mine for a silly cheap price.

Nonsense.

a)the roller controls are simply transverse-mounted pots, an easy replacement and very easy to work on.

b) I've worked on several and never seen any having any signs of crapping out. What goes wrong with them?

I always thought those Maverick pots were just retarded. My hands just slid across them on my mates old X1. Although, those were the only things i hated about it. The rest was absolutely perfect!
