String gauges(not a question)

It's more of a realization and amazement. I used to think Stef Carpenter was crazy for trying to use a .59 to go to F# at 27". But through the past two weeks I realized with a good setup it was not only possible, but could be pretty decent. Here's how - First I got a .45 on a 25.5" scale Fender to go to an low A with no problems. Then on a K7 I got a .62 or .63 to go to low F and it doesn't buzz. It blows my mind to think I could get a low E on an 8 string at 27" with a .65 without any problems. Then I realized that everyones claims that "the 25.5" ltd 8 string was a bad idea" may not be such a bad idea. If I can go to F on a K7 with a .62 I couldn't see why a F on a Ltd with a .63 -.68, depending on preference, would be any different. Its wierd when you have a revelation like that. Good, but wierd Thanks for listening to my rant/revelation

I got no video capabilities, but I could try some audio. and I knew someone would call me out on it.

Hey best I can do is this short craptastic quality clip of the low F and Bb strings recorded clean then dirty. and the buzzing is from the Bb not the F.
