Ishibashi <3 (56k, lots of photos)

So, I sold my DK2M to fund this baby. It had been sitting on Ishibashi for ages and I've always loved this UV so I thought I'd go for it.

Man, Ishibashi are the BEST. I paid on saturday night, it was shipped out on monday and arrived on thursday. That's service.

After I picked it up at the Post Office, I had to go into town and get some strings and do some other stuff. We (Mum and Me) dropped into my brothers place first, and he instisted on opening it up. So I did the picstory on his front doorstep.

The cutting implement:

Nice Prestige box. It's actually for an RG8470-RS.

Came with a sweet Ibanez case.

*Michael is a happy camper.

You can't see it too well, but there are some hardcore scratches around the from of the body.

Bit of a ding on the low B saddle.

My first UV. Yay.

Got home later in the day, restrung and set her up. Still needs a bit of work, but it should do for now.

I got it for $970AUD shipped.

The neck feels the s3x, yo. It actually feels unfinished, kinda like my old 1527's neck. Are UV necks the same (no glosh/clear coat/whatever it's called)?
