New 7 Soon...Just Not Sure As To What...HALP!

So, I'm currently selling my LTD H-1000 on eBay right now so I can use the funds for a new 7 string. Only thing is, I'm not 100% what I'd like to get. Right now, it's looking probable that I'll buy the Schecter Jeff Loomis Signature model. I love my Schecter 7 to death. It's been the best guitar I've owned. Love the looks, pups, specs, etc of the Loomis.
Here's a pic of the Loomis in case you've been living under a rock:

The only reason I'm, really asking this is because there might be something else out there that catches my eye that I don't know about. That's where you guys come in! My price range is right about the Loomis level. $1000, not much more than that. So, if you have any suggestions, or feel the Loomis will indeed be best, please post your thoughts!!! Pics and links are encouraged big time. Thank you all!

EDIT: OMFG!!! JUST SAW THIS! LOOMIS NOW HAS SERIOUS COMPETITION!!!

If you could live without the floyd rose, the Loomis hardtail model is about $250 less. Some other great 7s for under $1000 include: Jackson "COW" DK7 model ($799), Schecter Blackjack/ATX ($699), and a Carvin DC727 (price varies). There's also the new Ibanez XPT707 ($899), there's some other Ibanez models for under $1000 but they're bolt-ons with useless pickups so I'm not going to recommend those unless used.

I've checked out the ones you've mentioned. Still digging the Loomis over those. Carvins are definitely sweet as hell, just don't see myself ever owning one. Blackjack and ATX models turn me off due to pups. I don't wanna have to swap EMGs in there. I'm not a fan of the active Seymours.

I was eyeing up a Jackson COW Silverburst the other day, but the lack of a neck pickup kind of turns me off. I like versatility in my guitars.

Stef models turn me off due to pup position. I tend to hit middle pups every now and then and that annoys the living crap out of me. lol

Still debating trem or not as well on the Loomis. Think I am gonna go trem equipped though. Thanks for the recommendations!

Thank you so much! I'm in love with it. Just wanna get a friend for it so she's not so lonely. And to hold another tuning as well, with different tonal qualities.

Yeah, I was debating another Hellraiser 7, but I don't wanna get another one that looks so similar to my prototype, ya know?

Ah shit. Sup d00d! I like the Viper 407, but I dunno. I have a Viper 400 already and I dunno if I want two of (almost) the same model. Xiphos shape is too much for me.

that problem can be fixed on both of them by relocating the strap pin.

the Loomis is what you want if you're set on a trem equipped guitar. OFR7 has no equals
