Well, I thought I'd come on here with a couple of pics of my new axe, and suddenly I find that _velkan has just done the same thing with the same guitar . So, I guess this makes 2 Apex 2's in 2 days.

Man oh man, I'm loving this thing. Snagged it off of Ebay for a couple hundred dollars less than what it's going for new, plus this one came with a case. And this one is literally so brand new, that I'm not even sure it's been played at all. Looks fresh out of the factory, w/ tags & all. And holy hell, do these pickups sound fine.

This was pretty damn near exactly what I was looking for: 25.5" scale, fixed bridge, excellent access to the 24th fret, and NOT BLACK .

Cheers to _velkan & Morbid Icon, & anyone else that has one of these bad boys. This is a damn fine instrument, and I'm loving the hell out of it.

Nope, this is my third. My first was a 7621, but I sold that to nitelightboy so that I could buy a Schecter C7 Blackjack. But it was through that Schecter that I learned that my little hands just didn't feel as comfortable on a 26.5" scale neck as it did a 25.5". So I sold the Blackjack to Invader, and now I've bought this Apex 2.
