so i see this

SCHWING, the ups guy actually comes running up to give me the package, really fast

Here is a box, of a memory foam bed liner thing my mom bought, since boxes are so neat

I have to go to the bathroom, but i dont want the box to get hamburglered. i know, ill use 200 odd year old iron, gold leafed chinese fudogs to protect it!

open the box, its well packed

Carvin! Schwingosaurus Rex muthar heffer

Sexy top, rrreeeaaaalllly sexy top. i cant get a good picture of how deep it is

so the one crack in the back of the neck was professionaly repaired, and is fine. i put aLOT of pressure on the back trying to pry the other one open, nothing, upon inspection with a magnifying glass under pressure, the wood isnt even cracked. the guy said he was pretty sure its just finish, and hes right it seems. I'll patch up the finish and its ready to rock
The only issue is that the low b tuner, the lock wheel was bent, and sticks way out. i straightened it, but it still sticks out alot. works fine, it just looks funny. ill see if i can get that patched up

So this is probably one of the nicest 7s ive ever played, easily. I love it. I actually might just have to sell all my other guitars besides the RGR6 and buy another one. Im amazed. WAY nicer than the funky round edges make me want to think

buy a carvin.

btw its either maple/alder, or all mahogany. i think the latter.

now go buy one

the 3 knobs from neck side to bridge are volume, tone, and an EMG afterburner. the big toggle is a 3 way pickup, and im not actually sure what the other two are, coil cuts? phase? not sure, havent tried em yet

The rust color on the nut is a reflection, no rust at all.
The top crack was repaired, and the bottom one is just finish AFAIK, ill make extra sure this weekend, but its definately sturdy enough to play
