Gotoh tuners.

Yeah I stretched the strings.

This guitar has a graphite nut, it should be staying in tune. I have had the strings on there for 2 weeks and have been playing every day.

Thats weird to my knowledge the only version that came without locking tuners is the old SRC-7. It should stay in tune even with Gotohs. You sure you are stringing it up right?

I have been playing and setting up my guitars for a long time. I lock the string winding with a wrap around top and bottom like a pro would do when giving you a setup.

So it has the gotoh magnums? with the screw lock on top of the post? or is it some other kind im not aware of?

Either something is up with the tuners, which is unlikely, or you just got a shit set of strings on there somehow.

Try and relax a little bit dude. i knwo its annoying having a guitar thats not working like it should, but people are just trying to help. just take it easy

Um, if they are locking tuners, you SHOULDNT be addint that much. it should take maybe a full wrap at the most. thats the entire purpose of a locking tuner to begin with, is to eliminate wraps around the post. just pull it through snug, lock it, clip it, and tune up. it should only take a wrap, at the VERY most

[edit again]
Misread, so no locking tuners. hrm. still shouldnt be doing that. Im guessing somethings up with the strings

Stringing it up right? Uh yeah this isnt my first rodeo. I have been playing and setting up my guitars for a long time. I lock the string winding with a wrap around top and bottom like a pro would do when giving you a setup.

I duno maybe I just need to throw on another set of strings and hope for the best.
A lot of people on here use baritone guitars with lighter strings. It allows people to go lower in tuning with lighter strings.

Also chill out - we are all trying to help. Be patient and one of the many knowledgeable people will help you.
