I guess you just have to have a light touch, like you do on all tremolo systems.

I was thinking more in terms of where my palm rests on the saddles themselves when muting. It doesn't look like it's possible to me; I'd be trying to mute the strings with my hand almost over the pickup by the looks of that pic. I guess not every product is aimed at metalheads

The question on everybody's mind, once he/she watches our demo, which we will upload to the site in video form soon, is how does one bend when the string keeps constant tension. The string keeps constant tension only through a range of motion. At the front of that range is a stop, and at the back of that range is a stop. Position the arm close to the front stops and the guitar bends better than great, because as I said, before it hits the stop, the string is at constant tension, so it is effortless to move it.
From the forum...

To me, that means that it holds string tension while you push on the string up to a point, but then it hits this stop and from there you bend as normal. That tells me:

1.) That'd feel WEIRD under your fingers, and
2.) it'd only hold perfect tune within a set range.

Also, how the hell does one do vibrato on this setup?

I'm kind of curious to play one, but I'm seeing a lot of potential problems, too.

Justin Bailey is just really niceJustin Bailey is just really nice
its interesting but seems useless to me. I'd rather have a real trem with an arm, personally.

Does it work on anything other than stoptailpiece guitars?

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.
