Is my Neck Dry?
Guys, this the C-7 that I bought about 2 weeks ago... I notice that there is white flecks or grain in the wood.. on the neck is this normal on these or is this baby dry????

it could probably use a cleanup, but its not looking to pillaged imo.
just clean it up next time you restring and it will be fine

its clearcoat, and it came right off of my bass when i sanded the fretboard down. Just oil it over, and it goes away visually for a while
