how the hell do i raise the action on this thing? do i have to raise the action of the strings independantly by the small allen key holes?

Yes. And Remember that after you raise one, the action will raise a bit further when you raise the other siide of it to level, so either compensate for this as you adjust it, or expect to have to do it in several steps.

Honestly, a Floyd is kind of an exception in that you DON'T raise the action string by string. Most bridges have saddle height adjustments to make it easier to match to a given fretboard radius.
