This thread isn't worthless anymore.

I'll definitely go for a thicker string gauge, whatever the hell is on it right now is tolerable on standard tuning and almost useless one halfstep down. I'll have to play the EMGs through my 5150, but I think sooner or later I'll go for some DiMarzios. Either way I'm a happy camper right now, because my western guitar also arrived. Yay. Unless its a 2007, don't expect it so soon. Schecter is saying they won't get the 2008's from the factory until the end of this much, then they do their set up and ship.
