i've been adjusting the set up on my C7 almost since i got it - the notes dont ring out clear from 7-14 if i dont adjust the truss rod and leave the action a touch higher then i'd like it. the guitar needs to be set up.

coulda sworn i could get 'em before..

3 cheers for free gear!

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

I've had the same problem dude. I can pinch like crazy on my 6's, but they remain somewhat elusive on my 7. I'm hoping that with some SD Blackouts in my S7 it will be easy....indeed, i strung it up with 9-52s in the hope pinches would be easier and they have been...

I've been trying to set up my rg7620 for 3 days now, its kindof a pain when i cant find my 1.5mm allen wrench to lower the bridge. the bridge is way too high and the relief to low. all in all, its not that bad, but with low action i get a lot of clack clack.
I just need some extra scrill, and im gonna send it off to the DrewShop

Maybe if you're country didn't insist on using antiquated Imperial measaurements it wouldn't be so hard.

Pinch harmonics are SOOO much easier on a seven than on a six. I seriously don't get what's wrong. On my one GNX3000 preset, I get pinch harmonics when I'm not even trying. The bass player in my band and I joked about making a side project called "Pinch Harmonic Orchestra" where every single note and chord is pinch harmonisized (sarcastic, of course, but funny).

I don't buy that for a second. I had played 24.75" and 25.5" guitars before I bought my 27" Ibanez and the first day that I bought it, I was playing pinch harmonics louder and raunchier than on my 24.75" six string and my 25.5" seven string. I can get pinch harmonics on any string anywhere and it took zero getting used to. On the other hand, the 24.75" six string that I played for 3 years before I bought my first 7 is kind of difficult to get pinch harmonics on.

naren, i dont get it either! like its a harmonic kinda, but its not a pinch harmonic - it doesnt have the screaming quality to it.

very bizarre! the only reason i was getting anything resembling a PH (i think) was i was trying to use good vibrato..

maybe tomorrow will yield better results.

SoundClick artist: The Katyn Massacre - page with MP3 music downloads

There, that'll do.

Where's me scotch gone...

I've been working on the drums for a while, but I've just ripped this out to show the problems I get...these are the best pinches I've ever got from my 7's and even then

I'm drunk as FUCK, so please excuse the sloppiness. I'll be re-recording this in a longer version when the blackouts go in. Right now its just stock V87.

Arse, soundclick embedding isn't working.
