![]() ![]() | Yay, it's NGD! Baritone seven content Picked this up yesterday. I had to sell the 1527 and my trusty 7421 to get this, yet I don't regret it at all. This guitar is the best seven I've played. Got a very good custom made case with it too (a heavy flight case). This used to be the main guitar of the previous owner for a time, but was retired after he got a Ran RR seven and some other stuff. Anyway, there's some wear in it, but it doesn't bother me at all. So, pics (only two, the others turned out bad): ![]() ![]() It really needed a setup when I got it. The frets didn't shine almost at all and the fingerboard was very dry. I made the frets shine again, oiled the fingerboard twice, put an Elixir 010-046 + 060 set in, adjusted the action and installed a Tremol-no. Now it's pure sex. Gotta buy new pickups when I get paid tomorrow though. I'm gonna go send the 7421 to it's new owner now, and after that, I'll go try the new baby at band practice. |

![]() | Congrats, there are no so much 27" scale ibanez out there. I would like to ask if you found hard to get used from 25.5" to 27" fret spacing. Recently i am gassing with a new seven and have many doubts about going -or not- to baritone, because i always played 25.5" and you know, my hands are not the widest. Theoretically, 25.5" 1st fret = 27" 2nd fret 25.5" 2nd fret = 27" 3th fret ... and so on And would like to ask you too, if by being it 27" did it allowed you to install lighter gauge strings and feeling the same tension that in your previous 25.5" seven guitar? Thank you. |
