![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Fellow 7 stringers help me decide. Hey guys I'm going to be ordering a new axe very soon. But I can't make up my mind. I know this is probably the wrong place to be posting asking the question if I should go with a 6 or 7 but there are also a lot of loyal Ibby guys here so it might not be too biased. I kinda want a 6er as I already have a Loomis and not a real good 6. I also have always been a big Ibby guy and miss the feel and playability of a nice Ibanez. My choices are: Schecter Blacjack C-7 ATX ![]() pros: mohogany body blackouts ebony board Only $699 cons no trem pretty similar to my Loomis Ibanez RG2550Z ![]() pros: Ibanez neck Japanese quality sweet new Z edge trem comes with hardcase very different and more shreddable cons: basswood body rosewood board questionable stock pickups $200 more at $899 |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I voted the blackjack as I'm just not feeling that particular ibanez or much of any 6s since I went over to 7s. However if you are looking for a 6 I am sure there are better options out there than that ibby. |

Mahogany body, sweet ZR trem, and the shredable Ibanez neck that you want. ![]() ![]() | I think you get more bang for the buck with the Shecter. What you really need to weigh though is the neck. The Schecter necks are larger than Ibby's, and its a 26.5" scale versus the Ibanez 25.5". If you have smaller hands, you may prefer the Ibanez. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I want a 24 fret neck so the S7320 is out of the question. I do have small hands so the Ibby necks are more comfortable for me but I do have a Loomis so I know what the Schecters neck profile is like. |
