To 7 string, or just wait for 8?

yeah i've decided to bide my time for now. as awesome as the COW plays (i just have a special spot in my heart for jackson necks) i'm not a terribly huge fan of active pickups. Its what kept me from buying a Scheter Hellraiser as well. don't know why i never went for a blackjack or 007 though. regardless, i will just voice my chords differently and wait till i have the custom dough.

Apophis, sorry to say, Mike Sherman and i had already started design talk before i had even posted this thread. i'll keep you in mind for next guitar though.
