![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i stand corrected then . i've never actually seen a Moser 7 yet (not even at this years NAMM), and awhile back he didn't show much interest in doing so, which in turn was why i had no interest in his work. any pics of said sevens?so, in the Moser vs. Ibanez dilemma... Moser it is! ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | would you lose anything by sending it to ibanez? no so why NOT do it? but to be honest, i probably wouldn´t bother myself hehe :P thinking about it, if moser is an all custom-shop guy, then hell, that´s more awesome than ibanez, their custom stuff has alot of limits, due to the workload they are given, with all the endorsements... plus, any good custom shop can build your dream guitar, as long as you spec it out good enough. i mean they are both just custom shops... they cut wood and stuff... so if you tell them how you want your wood, they will make the wood like you said... easy as that! paint is still paint, woods are still woods, materials are still materials... but for the love of god, do try! you don´t lose shit by sending a press kit to ibanez, if nothing happens there, then hey, you still got muhafuggin´ Moser! :P -------------------------------------- Æn Æppl Æ Dæi, Kiips De Dåktor Awæi |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'd go with Moser for access to his custom built instruments any day! But, reading your original post...I must say, it only sounds like you're interested in Neals guitars because you don't have any other prospects. Not because it's what you really dig...the rest of the band too for that matter. If you like Ibanez, and play Ibanez...why play anything else? Am I right? Not only that, but the 2 are sooooo different from eachother!! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Go for the Moser. Neal and I are friends. I would take his flawless playing instruments any day of the week over any other well exposed, popular brand name, for quality alone, but also for how much personal attention you'll receive from Neal & Earlleen. He's a consumate gentleman, and his skills speak for themselves. Oh, and in case you ever consider buying a Bich, get a Moser 6/10 instead. He designed it anyway, so for that alone I'd get his, but also, the quality of his over any production Bich is gonna be night and day. Also, BCR's parent company, HHI, really tried to screw Neal out of royalties for creating the design, along with the Seagull, Virgin, and maybe one more. With Ibanez, you'll still get basically an RG body with your specs. With Neal, you can design your dream guitar from the ground up. |
