I love the frets on my 7620 (I'm used to 6100 fret wire.)
I played Drew's white UV a while back and I hated the frets on it.
Too bad it was otherwise an awesome guitar.
If I'm not mistaken the RG7620 doesn't have 6100s, but something a bit smaller.

ya they are a little bit smaller , but not much. definitely bigger than what are on Drews UV (which is the only UV I've played as of yet.)

Can I be the devil on your shoulder?

They all sound dramatically different from each other. Its actually shocking how much variance in tone exists between guitars that, aside from the GR and its maple board, are supposed to be identical in materials and pickups.

The GR has the best overall blend of low and high end.

The PWH has the smoothest low end and not much top at all.

The MC is right in the middle tonally of the GR and the PWH. I would almost swear that it it alder by the sound of it.

The BK is a crispy bastard. Thats the go to clarity guitar while heavily distorted.

Im trying to decide if I want a silver dot. On the one hand, you are right, its a square heeled UV like the other four and Im sure the neck is awesome. On the other hand, its not really one of the original four, and didnt exist back when I got my first UV (and 7 string for that matter), back in '92. The plain black is a bit lost on me. Ill probably cave in the end though, due to my need for completeness in the collection.

Actually if Im gonna be about it, I should look for a MKR MC as well since it is a completely different artist that painted it, and they look so vastly different to me than ATD's.
