I think the Apex2 looks very cool, the color is unque and a + for the fixed bridge, I think the only thing I would swap is the hardware for black.
nothin wrong with the 7321 neck

Oh ok, its just that I've read a lot of bashing on that neck, I've never played a universe, but I have played a K7 and between the RG7321 and the RG7620, I liked them all, but I prefer the neck on the RG7321, its just right.

But some people like other necks more. so youre wrong

sorry i just had to get that one out of my system. its been buggin me a bit.
I dont see why everybody hates the damn 7321's. yeah, its not as nice as a 3000 dollar custom. it doesnt cost as much either.
I think they're great guitars for the cash, although you can probably find a 7421 for the same price. if you cant though, its not a bad guitar at all

The neck is the main reason why i have my RG7321 since 5 years... and my other guitars changed constantly.... but i think i settled now for the S7320 neck aswell which isn't bad after some playtime and the RG2228.... my god, her neck is the most comfortable thing i ever played.
But if they would make a S-series 7string with the 7321 neck, who do you think would be among the first ones to storm the next guitar store ?

I liked the Apex 2 aswell when i tried it but the mahogany-rg-body just didn't do it for me... and it had no dot inlays (yes, i'm conservative in that regard, for me a guitar without dot inlays is like a car without manual gear shift )

this site has more positive energy than the souls of 1,000 dead vikings roaming the countryside to feast on the hearts of children x(-1). LEON

For the price it's great; DiMarzio Paf Pros, Mahogany body, Jem-style jack input, decent neck, felt good to me when i tried it out few months back. If you really like the tremolo, you should think about other options of that price range: Ibanez S7320, Shecter C-7FR... You'll find your favorite guitar just by trying em' out
