Shooter has a spectacular aura about
I don't know, just slapping Dime's name on a bunch of guitars, especially a guitar he didn't even design or play, like that 7, seems kinda fucked up to me. I mean it seems like they're just trying to make a quick buck off his name.

If you're out there and you're cute, maybe you're beautiful, I just wanna tell you something... there's more of us ugly m*ther f*ckers then you are.

I love this line from the "Dean History."

"Dean guitars started showing up on rock stages worldwide, album covers, and especially on the newly emerging channel called MTV."

I don't know why, but it made me laugh.

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

it's kind of fucking sad how much 'signature' dimebag shit we see nowadays, and how dean is using his image to make him into the Kurt Cobain of metal. Dean Zelinsky (or however you spell it) has said 'Dimebag did more for this company than anyone else, ever" (adlib)...
Its fucked up to watch them take advantage (though im sure it helps his family)

Really? You must be pretty young, then. Dean in the late '70s was pretty much the first company to get into the business of making "Gibsons that didn't suck." Their early models were all slightly more exotic variations on Gibson themes. I saw one on MTV as early as 1982--Rik Emmett from Triumph played a Dean Flying V at the US Festival and in the videos for the "Never Surrender" album. I first played one in a store only a couple of years after that. A local store had a used Dean V with an unusual single humbucker setup. They were only asking about $300 for it, and man do I wish I had grabbed it. The classic-era USA Deans command decent prices now.

And yeah, Dimebag's love of the classic era '80s Dean ML is what led to the approximately 40,000 signature models now bearing his name.

The Razorback is really just an ML with cheesy body styling additions.
