![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Don't buy it if You didn't play on it first it's got way narrow strings then ibanez and could be pain in the ass if You solo a lot overal. it's a great guitar and IMO worth the money |

That is the exact same tune-o-matic bridge that everyone uses. Your statement is rulling out ESP, Jackson, Schecter, BC Rich, and everyone else that uses this fixed bridge design. It is the exact same string spacing as the six string version, which Gibson invented back in the 1950s. Since I know plenty of people who solo on a guitar with this bridge design... ![]() ...I really fail to see the problem. Now, if you want to bag on ESP's being difficult to play, then you should mention the pickup that is smack dab in the middle of the guitar. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | no, it's narrow on the nut not on the bridge. You can feel it on first 3-5 frets. and I don't have a probem with the middle pickup. I love how it sounds and I'm not hitting it when I'm picking like few people that mentioned before |

I know there are a few two inchers floating around out there, but it isn't very common. RG7620 nut width = 48mm 48mm = 1.8912in 1.8912in ~ 1 7/8" |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Nikt, I've probably played more 7-string models than you. Just about every single Ibanez, Schecter, BC Rich, Jackson, and ESP/LTD you can think of, along with KxK, Washburn, Gibson, Fender, and Manne. Just look at the locking nut Ibanez uses on their sevens. The lock blocks are narrower than they would be on a six. Neck profile counts for a lot more than people realize, and modern Ibanez sevens tend to have very shoulders, making them feel wider than they really are. Mike's Washburn 7 is the same, and we both would have sworn it was a 2" nut until he measured it. The broader taper as it the neck widens to the full size Floyd saddles at the bridge doesn't help your perception, either. Trust me, it is the same 1 7/8" width. |
