![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Popped my 7 cherry today... Yep, I hopped down to the local GC to scope out the selection - and what a selection it was: 2 7321s (neither of which were set up and buzzed like hell) and a C7 Hellraiser - actually tuned. So, after playing 'em I really can't decide which one felt better, the 7321 felt very fast and non-resistant, whereas the Schecter felt somewhat more substantial. When it comes to sixers I'm more of the thick neck kinda guy, I have two Artcore thinline hollowbodies, but I dunno... I think I'll have to play 'em a couple of dozen more times before I can tell. All in all the curiosity is giving way for full-on lust, that low B made a rumbly in my tumbly that I'll not so soon forget. Sound-wise, couldn't really tell thanks to the half dozen kids cranking the MGs and bringing teh bro0o0talz... next time I'm heading to the POD display, where headphones reign supreme... |

Besides, I almost prefer the salespeople being tied up with the kiddies, keeps 'em from asking me "So, when you takin' it home, broheim" every 2 minutes. I'm hoping to actually hear the guitars next time around, even if I have to bring my in-ears with me. All I can say for now is that I liked the feel of both guitars, as well as the feel of the additional string, I just don't know which one I liked better.... yet. But I finally know what you people are babbling on about! | |
