Ibanez 2077 and Schecter C7 comparison clip

My Ibanez 2077xl arrived today, sounds alright, my schecter actually sounds a little better, which will be addressed when i change these god damn crap dimarzios out of it.

Anyone know where to buy a new nut for these things too?
One of the threads on the nut is fucked and i need a new nut!
I guess it's going to be quite expensive.

Ok clip is here...

SoundClick artist: Elements (UK) - page with MP3 music downloads

It's the top one called "hope" with Schecter C7 on Left and Ibanez 2077 on right with identical Pod settings.

Just some cliche ion dissonance/catch 33 rip off riffs.

I personally think the schecter C7 just has a bit more ooomph and cut to it.

Pics to follow when i find a camera that works!
Ill also get some invader clips with it when its been setup properly

Cheers

Busted a nut eh?

I think Warmoth has some, not sure. I'll have to check out these clips when I get home.

"IBANEZ RULES!!" - Ibanez Guitars - New and Used

Be forewarned though, the Ibanez 7-string nut is fucking expensive. I wanna say like $125...

Holy shit, I had no idea you're Elements! I'm a big fan of your stuff, dude! I like the tone of the new clip, too! Did you mic your engl up for this?

It's definately the nut, tried a number of spare screws i had spare.
It's not too much of a problem though, as i'm just about to block the trem instead of buying a new nut, and i change tuning on the low string only too.

Yo man, glad you like.
Nah couldn't be arsed to mic the engl, just used my pod xt pro.

Gonna need some more mics to get a good sound out the Engl, i feel the SM57 is too harsh for it.
