Another "versus" topic =P
When i thought i would go C7 Hellraiser for real... A friend of mine told me about the ibanez S7320 and i find myself questioning my decision! And i tried out the ibanez, and i really liked that sleek sexy body, and that ZR trem looks very very cool (by the way, is it lockable?) and i never tried out a C7 Hellraiser... I need your opinions and experiences! \m/ thank you (please dont bother mentioning the Jeff Loomis Sig. i'm more into Mahogany bodies =P ) |

what do you mean lockable? the zr is a locking trem, just like a floyd rose (well it is a floyd rose, that works on ball bearings).
you can take the zeropoint system out of the back (the backstop lookin thingy) and put in a tremelo to temporarily block it or switch it to dive only with a flick of a knob. personally, i chose the s7320 over the hellraiser because of the supersweet trem (which can always be blocked) that comes with what is basically a backstop. you can always install emgs in it if you like. the only + i see in the hellraiser is the extended scale, and maybe the finish. the ibby neck is a little squarish too, but thats easily fixed with some sandpaper, and it needs new pickups. i will say that much. they are both good guitars really, i dont know how the prices compare there, but here the hellraiser is 100usd more, and i chose the s even though it needs pickups

The best advice you can get is from your hands.
Try them both out. Buy the one YOU like the best. If you like the Ibanez better, get that one, if you end up liking the Hellraiser more, get that one. That way you'll be sure you made the correct choice. Don't let fanboyism get in your way. ![]()

sweet. it certainly is, you just have to remove the zeropoint mechanism (takes like 5-10 minutes), and i recommend installing a tremelno.
as chris said, try both if you can |

i've never heard of a self bloackable trem.
actually, with the zeropoint mechanism left installed, you can downtune the bottom string to a using either the zr dtuna (hard to find, but they pop up on the bay) or just the fine tuner, and it should stay in tune pretty well. |
